History

The Summit began during the economic crisis of 2008. Fellow lending executives gathered in Kansas City to support one another and ride out the storm. They did.

RELATIONSHIPS

Each year at the Summit, our circle of allies widens, the technology evolves and the collaboration expands. Transparency bestows more trust and good will, all for the greater good.

VALUE

As conferences grow, they can lose focus on why they started in the first place - often becoming commercials. Summit11 is committed to honoring its roots and providing ingenuity and value.

Frequently Asked Questions

Let’s get comfortable. Anything between business casual and casual works.

The airport is located about 25 minutes from downtown Kansas City. On Monday, we suggest you arrive to the hotel by 3:00 pm so you can drop your bags and head over to the Tom’s Town between 3:00 – 5:00 pm.

Beginning at 2:45pm on Monday, the Summit Shuttle will travel between 21C Museum Hotel and Tom's Town. It's only about a 5-minute trip but you'll want to get there just as soon as you can. Look for the Summit Shuttle on the west side of the hotel. The program starts at 5:00 pm! The address is 1701 Main Street in downtown Kansas City.

We want you to hang out with each other! There are tremendous restaurants in downtown and the Crossroads District. Here’s a list of some of our favorites: Taps on Main, Extra Virgin, Jack Stack Barbecue, Anton’s, Tannin Wine Bar, The Rieger, Grunauer, Novel, BRGR Kitchen + Bar, The Jacobson and Boulevard Tavern. Most will take a reservation.

Yes! Our shuttle will take you back to your hotel before the Royals game for a quick change and laptop drop.

Uber ($30-ish), SuperShuttle ($40-ish), cab ($55-ish). It’s about a 25-minute trip from downtown to the airport. Maybe find someone to share the ride.

In Summits of the past, attendees have asked for more one-on-one time with the sponsors. This year we will reserve Wednesday morning for a hearty breakfast and space for one-on-one benchmark meetings with providers. Ask yours for an appointment to check performance.

We believe the only way to provide value beyond expectation is by listening to our attendees year over year. What we heard loud and clear is a desire for the latest consumer research and newest innovation with world-class speakers. We got it!

Don’t you love to have options! Since 21C Museum Hotel is our official Summit hotel, our private shuttle will run between the hotel and each event. If you want to leave your car at the hotel and use the shuttle you can. There is a public parking garage just across the street from the hotel at 9th & Central. It’s $10 a day or $25 overnight. This is the lot to use for the Wednesday morning breakfast and session at the hotel.

On Tuesday only, if you choose to drive to The Gallery, there is suggested parking under the Power & Light District. The entrance is located on 13th and Grand (left-hand side). You’ll find the elevator located on the right-hand side of the down ramp. You must bring your ticket to The Gallery/Summit registration desk on Tuesday for validation or the garage will charge you $25 to get out of the garage.
