The Summit began during the economic crisis of 2008. Fellow lending executives gathered in Kansas City to support one another and ride out the storm. They did.

Each year at the Summit, our circle of allies widens, the technology evolves and the collaboration expands. Transparency bestows more trust and good will, all for the greater good.

As conferences grow, they can lose focus on why they started in the first place - often becoming commercials. Summit11 is committed to honoring its roots and providing ingenuity and value.

    Steve Revare & David Epstein

The co-founders of Tom’s Town Distilling Company were surprised to learn they each had a family connection to namesake Tom Pendergast. Pendergast was a powerful political figure who basically ignored prohibition, making sure the booze kept flowing and the jazz kept playing in the 1920’s. Their story comes complete with tastings of their Award Winning gin, bourbon and vodka all manufactured at Tom’s Town Distilling Co. Frequently Asked Questions

Let’s get comfortable. Anything between business casual and casual works.

The airport is located about 25 minutes from downtown Kansas City. On Monday, we suggest you arrive to the hotel by 3:00 pm so you can drop your bags and head over to the Tom’s Town between 3:00 – 5:00 pm.

We will have a shuttle running between the two locations from 3:00 – 5:30 pm. You can also walk three blocks to Main Street and hop on the Streetcar for three stops, getting off at 16th street, then walk one block south to Tom’s Town at 1701 Main St., Kansas City, Missouri 64108.

We want you to hang out with each other! There are tremendous restaurants in downtown and the Crossroads District. Here’s a list of some of our favorites: Taps on Main, Extra Virgin, Jack Stack Barbecue, Anton’s, Tannin Wine Bar, The Rieger, Grunauer, Novel, BRGR Kitchen + Bar, The Jacobson and Boulevard Tavern. Most will take a reservation.

Yes! Our shuttle will take you back to your hotel before the Royals game for a quick change and laptop drop.

Uber ($30-ish), SuperShuttle ($40-ish), cab ($55-ish). It’s about a 25-minute trip from downtown to the airport. Maybe find someone to share the ride.

In Summits of the past, attendees have asked for more one-on-one time with the sponsors. This year we will reserve Wednesday morning for a hearty breakfast and space for one-on-one benchmark meetings with providers. Ask yours for an appointment to check performance.

We believe the only way to provide value beyond expectation is by listening to our attendees year over year. What we heard loud and clear is a desire for the latest consumer research and newest innovation with world-class speakers. We got it!
